Basic Ship-Planning Support System Using Big Data in Maritime Logistics for Simulating Demand Generation

Dynamic changes in the global market demand affect ship development. Correspondingly, big data have provided ability to comprehend current and future conditions numerous sectors understand dynamic circumstances of maritime industry. Therefore, we developed a basic ship-planning support system utilizing logistics. Previous studies used allocation algorithm, which only considered cost (COST) along limited target routes; by contrast, this study, is reinforced with particularized COST attributes greenhouse gas (GHG) features incorporated into algorithm related International Maritime Organization GHG reduction strategy. Additionally, expanded worldwide shipping area. Thus, optimize operation-level using existing ships considering emissions. Finally, specifications demanded are ascertained inputting new instance.
